Rajasthan to provide electricity in remote areas through solar power

The Rajasthan Government has determined to offer electricity connections in remote desert areas via solar power
plants.
Why the decision was taken?
The decision will lessen the deficit of electricity companies. The electricity companies are in Rs 38,248 Crore deficit and
thus steps are being taken to decrease the deficit.
