India and Spain today signed pacts to curb black money and prevent tax evasion. The two countries also agreed to amend the existing protocol for avoidance of double taxation. An MoU for enhancing defence cooperation and agreements for technical cooperation between the two railways were also inked apart from road transport sector and joint production of films. The pacts were signed after delegation level talks held between the visiting king of Spain Juan Carlos the 1st and Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh in New Delhi today. King Juan Carlos the 1st was earlier accorded a ceremonial reception and guard of honour at Rashtrapathi Bhawan this morning. The King of Spain also paid floral tributes at Rajghat, the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi.
