Hironmoy Chatterjee appointed as the CEO of AITA
Hironmoy Chatterjee, Secretary of the Bengal Tennis Association on 1 November 2012 was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The All India Tennis Association (AITA).
The decision of Chatterjee’s selection was made by the Executive Board of AITA that is headed by President Anil Khanna with consultation to the honourable Life President, Yashwant Sinha. Chatterjee in his 36 years experience as a tennis administrator has been a beneficiary of conducting different types of tournaments that includes the local tournaments to the Davis Cup, a tournament of world level.
The team of Hironmoy Chatterjee would include:
• 3 Senior Executive Directors
• CFO
• Development Director
• 10 other full-time paid staff plus coaches, who would be engaged in coaching in different part of the nations on the part time basis
Amalraj wins Senior National Table Tennis title
A Amalraj deafeated reigning champion Achanta Sharath Kamal to notch up his maiden Senior National Table
Tennis title.
However, his overt celebration earned him a 25 pc fine of his prize money.
Senior National Table Tennis was organized in Lucknow.
